The club StripOs found­ed in April 2009 today enjoys 160 mem­bers. Its goal is to increase the pop­u­lar­i­ty of the comics cul­ture, pro­duce pub­li­ca­tions and col­lect comics. Also impor­tant is the pro­mo­tion of research and exchange of comics, but above all it strives to encour­age the younger gen­er­a­tion towards cre­ative com­mu­ni­ca­tion through comics. The mag­a­zine of the same name, StripOs, reports on mem­bers’ activ­i­ties and pro­vides younger authors a venue for pub­lish­ing their works. Ultimately, every­one whose works are ded­i­cat­ed to mak­ing a state­ment should be able to find a place in the mag­a­zine. Twelve issues have appeared to date.
