Hardcomics is the first inde­pen­dent comics pub­lish­er in Romania. Or that’s what we used to believe. It was found­ed in 2002 by Miloš Jovanović, a Serbian dude lost to the Bucharest jun­gle for rea­sons known only to him. Shortly after pub­lish­ing the first two authored comics, we become a reg­u­lar venue for tal­ent­ed cre­atives to present their art. In addi­tion to 13 books, there have been a cou­ple of side projects such as Aooleu (hand­made news­pa­per) and Tata & Tata (pulp zine). The next project will be some­thing new. We don’t know when. Soon.
