* 1979 in Osijek / Croatia. Studied paint­ing at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina and at the Art Academy in Zagreb (MA). While still in high school, she began draw­ing comics for the school news­pa­per. Painting dom­i­nat­ed her uni­ver­si­ty stud­ies, but she always finds her way back to comics. In both media, her work illu­mi­nates many aspects of con­tem­po­rary queer dis­course. In paint­ing, this takes the form of idyl­lic images of Slavonic farm women. In comics, the super hero Horny Dyke takes the stage. She works as a free­lance painter and com­ic book author in Osijek.
